Q: What other dogs will my dog get to play with?
A: Each guest will be interviewed and observed to ensure safety and compatibility with other guests and staff members. The goal is to match or personalize your dog‘s specific needs with our services.

Q: Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered to attend doggie daycare?
A: To be in daycare all dogs must be spayed or neutered if they are 6 months or older.

Q: Does Fit ‘N’ Furry accept puppies for daycare?
A: Dogs in daycare must be at least 4 months old. What a great way to run off all that puppy energy! If your dog is younger than 4 months old, they can participate in Puppy Socialization.

Q. What vaccinations are required for my dog in order to attend doggie daycare?
A: For the health and safety of all of our guests, proof of up-to-date vaccinations is required. You must provide a copy or faxed copy of up to date vaccination history at the time of reservation and at least 1 week prior to lodging time period. If you ask your veterinarian they may offer to FAX your dog‘s vaccination records to us directly at (707) 769-7387.

Required vaccinations are as follows:

  • Rabies
  • Bordetella
  • Canine Influenza Virus

Q: What are the health requirements for my dog to attend daycare?
A: All pets must be on an active flea and tick prevention program of Frontline or Advantage. All pets must be in good health and have not been ill with a communicable disease within the past 30 days prior to boarding or daycare.

Q: My dog can sometimes be protective about his toys and can sometimes be aggressive. Can Fit ‘N’ Furry accommodate my special guy or gal?
A: All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. Owners will need to certify that their pet has not harmed or shown any threatening or aggressive behavior towards any person or other dogs. Dogs with an aggressive temperament will be allowed for day lodging if the owner selects the Special Handling Program.
